Observation Repository

The Observation Repository is a time-series store for observation values — LOINC-typed results, reference ranges and provenance.

Data model

The schema is small and audit-oriented. The ERD is embedded on the Overview tab.

Notes

Append-optimised for high-volume ORU traffic.
  • Stores both raw and UCUM-normalised values for display flexibility.
  • Longitudinal queries power the Chart Viewer.
