ACK Sender
The ACK Sender returns HL7 ACK or NAK messages to hospital senders immediately after parse validation — before slow mapping or clinical writes complete.
Why ACK early
Hospital interface engines often retry on timeout. ACKing after parse — not after EMPI match — keeps partners stable while clinical processing continues async.
