Patient Matcher

The Patient Matcher scores incoming patient demographics against the EMPI using probabilistic rules — name, DOB, sex, address, identifier overlap.

Behaviour

• Returns match / probable duplicate / new patient decision.
• Reads candidates from Patient Repository.
• Feeds the Patient Merger when duplicates are confirmed.
